Enkhsaikhan (James) Bayarsaikhan

Executive Chef James was born in 1983. Went to School at the Mongolian National University in 2004 for a bachelor’s degree. He earned his degree in Banking and Economics, and his Masters in Business Administration in 2014.

He came to the United States in 2006 and started working in restaurants as a dishwasher very quickly maneuvering his way into the kitchen and sushi bar as a sushi helper, kitchen chef, all the way to head sushi chef and management. Soon, James realized sushi was the best way to express himself as a craftsman and an artist, developing a life-long passion for Japanese cuisine, sushi in particular, while incorporating modern American sensibilities with various fusion influences. He has dedicated his time since to honing his craft over the past 15+ years.

Since pursuing his career in sushi crafting, he has worked with several notable restaurants across Los Angeles developing menus and creating unique dishes.
